At the first virtual InnoDays Innsbruck, 100+ participants and 40+ experts came together to create new mobility concepts. The InnoDays provided a platform to turn ideas into prototypes in 48 hours. Our focus for the Innsbruck edition was on the topic of mobility. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, we ran the Innsbruck edition fully online. We used the opportunity to go beyond the physical, and embrace the digital to work together to tackle important challenges.

Times are in CET.
Teams are built based on (1) the ideas, (2) challenge preferences, and (3) the mix of skills. Team leaders have 2 minutes to pitch at the opening.
We believe complex problems are best solved collaboratively. Everyone is welcome to join the InnoDays. Participants are students, employees, freelances, creatives and hopefully you.
Interact with companies to explore career opportunities and build your network. The best ideas get the company partner’s support to make your idea happen.
Work in a team with different skillsets and mindsets to come up with innovative solutions and learn with others. You’ll receive mentoring by inspirational leaders.
Innovation is something you get better by doing it. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience by solving critical challenges.
The winning team of each challenge will win a 3-day trip to Brussels. This is a unique opportunity to visit the European Parliament on a guided tour and exchange with EU delegates. During a networking event in the Euregio office you have the chance to pitch your idea to selected stakeholders with the aim to turn your idea into action. Possibly we’ll visit the Austrian Permanent Representation in Brussels. You’ll also have time for private sightseeing in Brussels.
Our jury members will evaluate your solutions based on the criteria of innovativeness, feasibility, challenge fit, presentation and motivation for continuation.

The InnoDays will run entirely virtually. Information on the platform that we will use will be provided soon.
The event will be entirely in English, but teams can choose to work together in whatever language they want.
We will have three main groups of participants from Austria, Germany, and South East Asia. However, the event is open to all participants from anywhere.
We will organize most of the common online activities in the overlap time between European (CET) and Jakarta time (WIB). Local lead mentors will be available to support the teams throughout the day.
The application process is two-steps. First, you will have to register on our website. Second, you will have to submit a video that summarizes your idea for the innovation challenge.
In this case, you can apply with a video introducing yourself, your interests and skills, and motivation for joining the InnoDays. Moreover, you will have to briefly explain a trend or inspiration relative to the challenge (e.g. How certain communities are dealing with the plastic problem in specific areas of the world)
Teams may have up to 5 people and can be created after submitting the application. If you don’t have a team after registration, we will assign you to teams based on your application.
We will kick off with a welcome session on May 13. Day 1 will be dedicated to ideation, Day 2 to prototyping, and Day 3 to validation. Teams will have daily check-ins with the lead mentors, and office-hours with experts and company partners.
Yes, daily check-ins are mandatory.
Teams will have access to a platform showcasing useful resources to progress on the idea. Webinars, check-ins, and office hours will complement the support.
Each team will have to submit a pitch-deck showcasing its idea and a pitch-video. A jury composed of company partners, experts, and mentors will evaluate the submission based on innovativeness, feasibility, challenge fit, progress in the 48 hours, and motivation to continue working on the idea.
No, there is no pre-requisite besides your commitment throughout the 48 hours.
